Makeup Makeup Makeup

When I was racking my brains thinking about what I should post next I thought what would be more interesting than a post about makeup.

Since I have a short time to get myself ready in the mornings, time is of the essence and I need to be able to apply makeup whilst half asleep in under 10 minutes (that doesn't always happen) so that I'm only ever fashionably late.

So here you go, here are some of my favourite go to makeup products that I love to use on a daily basis that help me look socially acceptable even when all I want is to crawl back into bed.

Often I go for a natural look with winged liner in order to enhance and define my eye shape, I have blonde hair and the Sepia Ink is a lot less harsh on me than using a black liner. Another thing about this liner is that it doesn't dry shiny like most liquid liners - J'adore! I have to say the Soleil Tan De Chanel is a life saver, for somebody as pale white as me it effortlessly adds a light bronze glow without looking too over done.

The Ted Baker Shimmer Bronzer was a gift at christmas and I love how sheer the colour is, I like to use it as a highlighter (I don't usually use a blusher) and it adds a natural dew to the skin without lumps of glitter everywhere. I use it in place of my MAC soft and gentle.

The NARS Turkish Delight is a great nude pink lipgloss for those natural days (as well as a previous favourite of Kimmy K herself). But sometimes I do love a bright red lip and my favourite red lipstick has to be YSL.

This is a Rouge Volupte lipstick in number 15. I absolutely love this colour, it's got a hint of orange which suits my complexion perfectly and it has a perfect velvet finish. The other thing that makes it outstanding is it tastes and smells delicious and doesn't dry out my lips!

Finally, I have to admit my other obsession (along with shoes) is for a good lip balm. I may have missed the hype with the EOS lip balms because I thought that I had enough lip hydrants but after recently purchasing Summer Fruits, I realise that I had been missing out so much. The flavour is amazing and every time I use it I just want to eat it. It also doesn't leave a glossy finish on your lips so is perfect for applying before your lipstick or lipliner.

Start as you mean to go on...

Hi

I guess I should begin by saying that I have no idea what I'm doing here, but I hope that this is somewhat interesting.

I've ever had a blog before and so I'm not quite sure how to begin. I wouldn't say I'm the best writer and so I just hope what follows is adequate enough. I decided to start this blog, mainly because I love reading other peoples blogs and so thought I may as well give it a go.

I have a 'passion for fashion' and all things glittery. I love clothes and decor and anything that allows my creativity to run free. So if you were wondering I guess you've been updated on what kind of things I'm going to post here and my reason for even bothering.

Now I guess this isn't how I mean to go on so maybe I will give you an insight into things that I love.

I have to admit I don't tend to follow trends that you can see in vogue or on the runway, I would rather just put together new and old pieces that I love and hope for the best!

So without further ado, here are some of the things that have caught my eye in the SS15 collection on one of my favourite online stores - zara.

One thing you should probably know about me is that I may have a slight obsession with shoes. I found it hard but here I selected my 4 favourite pairs in the new collection. I love a black ankle boot, it's definitely a stable for me and I believe that zara have some of the best options.

I also picked out some amazing metallic options, I have to say I am a bit of a magpie and I love all things glittery and shiny.

I just had to include this bag when it came to my favourite zara picks. I've had my eye on this bag for a while and I have to say it must be because of the resemblance to a Chanel bag, at a fraction of the price. Every time I find myself in a zara store (often!) I try on this bag and it is definitely beautiful.

Last but by no means least I decided to include this dress contraption. I have to say I think I may be in love and that this may be my next purchase. I'm not quite sure why I love it so much or when I would wear it but theres just something about it. Possibly the fact it reminds me of a beach cover up and holidays.

As previously mentioned I do hope that this was somewhat interesting and gave whoever is reading this an insight into my style and the things that I love.

I however also apologise if it was too long and boring - sometimes I do tend to ramble.
